Job Summary: Professional responsible for developing, detailing, and reviewing mechanical projects in the metallurgical industry using SolidWorks while ensuring compliance with technical standards. Project optimization for cost reduction and performance improvement Metallurgical industry seeks a Mechanical Designer in Nova Odessa. **Responsibilities:** Develop, detail, and review mechanical projects for the metallurgical industry using SolidWorks software. Create 3D and 2D designs focused on metal structures, machinery, equipment, devices, and welded assemblies. Generate detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings for processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and mechanical assembly. Specify appropriate metallic materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum) according to each project's application. Develop and review bills of materials (BOM) and technical specifications. Perform modifications and improvements to existing projects to reduce costs, improve performance, and facilitate manufacturing. Monitor manufacturing on the shop floor, providing direct technical support to production and welding teams. Ensure all projects comply with applicable technical, safety, and quality standards in the metallurgical sector. Maintain constant interaction with production, quality, procurement, and supplier departments. Support equipment and structural testing, validation, and commissioning processes. Maintain organized and up-to-date technical documentation for all projects.
