Description
**Job Mission:**
* Responsible for opening and reopening trails to improve team access to collection points, using manual tools such as machetes and similar equipment.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Provide logistical support in the field, assisting in the material collection process.
* Remain vigilant in identifying venomous and wild animals in the field; if identified, take necessary actions according to health and safety procedures.
* Inspect, sort, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) before entering the field.
* Organize and handle, if necessary, a horn/whistle and pepper spray/gas to deter wild animals and ensure the safety of all personnel in the field.
* Report any irregularities or abnormal incidents encountered during field access to the immediate supervisor, especially those that may affect collection activities.
* Comply with and enforce the Code of Ethics, ensuring adherence to clauses regarding ethical duties common to all employees.
* Report to the immediate supervisor matters related to one’s area of responsibility, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities, and proposing solutions to support the definition of procedures and actions to be adopted.
Perform related tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor.
