Opportunity to promote environmental education and environmental management systems **Brief Job Description** Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and internal company standards by monitoring environmental impacts, proposing preventive, control, and mitigation measures, promoting environmental awareness among employees, and ensuring the company's sustainable operation. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** Control and monitor environmental aspects and impacts: effluents, atmospheric emissions, waste, noise, and water resources. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation related to company activities. Support the preparation and updating of environmental licenses and conditions with competent authorities. Supervise solid waste management (source separation, storage, transportation, and final disposal). Control proper storage and handling of chemical and hazardous products. Apply and track environmental indicators, proposing corrective and improvement actions. Prepare technical reports, Environmental Control Plans (PCA), Solid Waste Management Plans (PGRS), and other legal documents. Promote environmental education campaigns, training sessions, and programs. Support internal and external environmental audits. Assist in implementing environmental management systems (ISO 14001\) and ESG practices. Conduct inspections and issue reports on environmental compliance and non-compliance. **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS** **EDUCATION:** Completed Technical Course in Environmental Science (with professional registration if required). **Preferred:** Extension or specialization courses in environmental management, waste management, ESG, or environmental licensing. **Additional Certifications:** NR\-11, NR\-12, NR\-20, NR\-33, and NR\-35 (as required by the area) Waste Management Course, Environmental Emergency Response Training, ISO 14001 **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum two years of prior experience in environmental control, licensing, waste management, or monitoring in industrial facilities, construction sites, or service companies. Participation in environmental audits and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) is a plus.
