Job description We are looking for a Development Engineer in Automation with strong expertise in GenAI, MLOps, and Large Language Models (LLMs). This position targets a profile more oriented toward backend and product development than research, focusing on deploying AI solutions into production within cloud environments. Responsibilities Develop and maintain GenAI applications in production environments. Design, implement, and optimize LLM workflows, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and prompt engineering. Collaborate with product and business teams to transform requirements into production-ready AI features. Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of AI solutions in cloud environments. Apply MLOps best practices (model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD, observability) across the entire solution lifecycle. Research and integrate new cloud tools and services that can enhance AI application performance and efficiency. Required Qualifications 4–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer / Data Engineer, with a backend focus. Solid hands-on experience with GenAI and LLM applications. Experience with LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering. Proven experience deploying AI products/features into production. Strong understanding of MLOps and cloud infrastructure (monitoring, logging, CI/CD, deployment, scalability). Native Portuguese and fluent English (spoken and written). Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) focused on AI/ML services. Knowledge of frameworks and tools for LLM and RAG orchestration (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.). Experience with language model APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, other proprietary or open-source LLMs). Experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams (product, data, business).
