**Responsibilities and Duties** **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Organize all departmental activities to meet project contractual requirements;
* Develop, review, and approve administrative and operational procedures;
* Participate in projects aimed at continuous improvement of shipyard processes;
* Attend managerial follow-up meetings with the customer regarding departmental activities;
* Issue vessel delivery documentation to the customer;
* Plan and prepare training sessions;
* Ensure traceability of controlled information;
* Maintain classified information in compliance with contractual requirements;
* Support non-conformance handling processes;
* Manage personnel: coordinate the team; delegate tasks; train staff; conduct interviews; approve vacations; hire; promote; terminate employment; evaluate performance; apply disciplinary measures; among others; mediate internal departmental conflicts when necessary, and ensure harmonious working relationships and smooth progress of activities;
* Promote team development through specific courses and training programs;
* Develop organizational procedures and instructions related to departmental activities to improve and optimize team efficiency;
* Coordinate and monitor team performance, providing guidance on goals and objectives, work procedures, and internal company policies and/or regulations to ensure proper implementation;
* Plan and coordinate quality management activities related to deviation management, delegating tasks and ensuring compliance with quality specifications and standards;
* Develop and monitor departmental performance indicators, suggesting and promoting improvements; hold periodic internal meetings to address technical matters, clarifications, and disciplinary actions;
* Establish and maintain control over executed activities to define standards and metrics; develop presentations and issue reports; ensure and promote compliance with environmental protection measures, quality control and occupational safety standards; monitor audit execution to identify needs for changes/modifications enabling certification attainment; support departmental budget preparation, monitoring, and review; perform other professional duties related to and inherent to the position, as required or at the discretion of the immediate supervisor;
* Issue purchase requisitions.
**AUTHORITIES:**
* Guide and train all stakeholders involved in deviation-related activities.
* Internal alignment in case of NC inconsistencies until problem resolution;
* Update and upload documents and information into SAP and Fusion.
* Develop, review, and approve documents and records pertinent to the Quality Department.
* Initiate/Open Non-Conformities.
* Suspend administrative and/or operational activities in case of deviations/non-conformities.
* Report any deviation/non-compliance with applicable procedures and requirements to immediate leadership.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed undergraduate degree in Engineering, Quality, Production, or related fields
**Technical Competencies:**
Experience with quality documentation;
Proficiency in document management software;
Knowledge of SAP – QM Module;
Familiarity with quality tools;
Knowledge of problem identification, analysis, and resolution methodologies;
Solid understanding of non-conformance handling and continuous improvement methodologies;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Desirable Technical Competencies:** Experience in shipyards / knowledge of naval construction
**Mandatory Language:** Intermediate/Advanced English
**Experience:** In the quality field or as a Quality Coordinator
