Metalworking company seeks an Automation Technician in Hortolândia. **Responsibilities:** Assemble automation equipment and systems at the Columbia plant for tryout / FAT, interconnecting all equipment, measuring, inspecting, adjusting, and preparing them for testing. Conduct equipment tests for validation, adjust PLC programs, optical sensors, frequency inverters, safety relays, light curtains, area scanners, palletizing recipes for machines or robots. Install equipment at customer plants according to the defined project. Perform necessary adjustments for assembly (fitting) of parts, accessories, and components using manual and electric tools, both preventively and corrective as required. Provide assistance to customers operating equipment supplied by Columbia Machine or Okura Yusoki in Brazil and South America. Perform electromechanical repairs or assembly of parts, assemblies, devices, equipment, and systems by reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, sketches, plans, layouts, technical or functional descriptions/manuals, whenever necessary to ensure proper equipment operation. Previous experience as an Automation Specialist, Automation Analyst, Automation Engineer, or Control and Automation Technician may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position.
