




Job Description – Quality Analyst – Chemist Work Location: Jundiaí Site – WM Brazil Department: Quality Control Immediate Supervisor: Quality Manager Team Management: No General Objective Implement and maintain quality control tools to drive continuous process improvement. Responsible for overseeing laboratory, production, and chemical/physical testing activities; developing operational and systemic procedures and manuals; participating in improvement projects; preparing technical reports; conducting FMEAs; managing non-conformities; supporting internal and external audits; and ensuring technical compliance of products and processes. Key Responsibilities* Ensure a safe working environment focused on zero incidents and zero defects; * Support laboratory activities related to production processes; * Collaborate in the development of operational and systemic procedures; * Collaborate in continuous improvement projects; * Perform rheometry and viscosity analyses on rubber compounds; * Vulcanize test specimens; * Monitor acceleration and vulcanization processes of rubber compounds; * Conduct physicochemical analyses on rubber compounds (tensile strength, elongation, tear resistance, abrasion resistance, resilience, thermal aging, etc.); * Conduct physicochemical analyses on sand (pH, density, ash content, tensile strength, moisture content); * Perform microscopic analyses on metallic alloys; * Create and update quality indicators, charts, and technical reports; * Use measurement and testing instruments; * Interpret technical drawings and product specifications; * Participate in discussions related to Research and Development; * Conduct technical analysis and correction of product and process failures; * Prepare technical reports related to elastomers; * Engage in technical exchanges with global research centers; * Improve time-and-motion studies and laboratory and production layout organization. Technical Requirements* Education: Chemistry Technician qualification and/or Engineering degree with active CRQ registration. * Experience: In chemical/physical testing laboratories for polymers. * Desirable: Knowledge of casting, machining, fabrication, rubber processing, and assembly processes; * Quality Tools: 6S, Kaizen, 8D, FMEA, APQP, SPC, MASP, GAGE R&R, PPAP, First Article (desirable); * Systems: ERP SAP, QM Module; * Standards: ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (desirable); * Language: English (an advantage).
