Promoting safe working environments Job Description – Occupational Health and Safety Technician Job Description: Work at an occupational health and safety consulting firm, responsible for developing and managing statutory programs, providing technical support to clients across various sectors, and promoting safe working environments in compliance with current legislation. Main Responsibilities: \- Development and updating of the Risk Assessment Program (PGR), the Occupational Health Monitoring Program (PCMSO), the Technical Report on Hazardous Activities and Operations (LTCAT), and the Accident Prevention Plan (PAP); \- Conducting technical site visits to identify hazards and provide preventive guidance; \- Delivering accident prevention training and capacity-building sessions aligned with Regulatory Standards (NRs) 01, 05, 06, 12, 17, 18, and 35; \- Conducting technical lectures focused on occupational health and safety; \- Supporting and attending CIPA meetings, including organizing and conducting the electoral process (online via SOC and in-person); \- Environmental assessment of physical and chemical agents; \- Managing and advising on proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including appropriate technical specifications based on identified hazards; \- Entering and managing information in the SOC system; \- Providing technical and regulatory guidance to clients and supporting the commercial department. Requirements: \- Technical qualification in Occupational Health and Safety; \- Active registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE); \- Driver's license, Category B; \- Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs); \- Familiarity with the SOC system; \- Experience delivering training and technical lectures; \- Knowledge of environmental risk assessment. Preferred Qualifications: \- Prior experience in consulting; \- Clear and didactic communication skills; \- Proactivity; \- Organizational and demand management skills.
