**Responsibilities and duties**
* Perform physicochemical analyses, prepare solutions, reagents, and samples, operate laboratory equipment, and follow analytical methodologies and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and acting assertively in identifying and resolving problems.
* Accurately complete laboratory documentation and verify analytical data, ensuring information integrity according to ALCOA principles and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
* Pay close attention to process details and commit to quality, safety, and reliability of results, contributing to laboratory investigations, control of analytical materials, laboratory organization, and meeting established analytical deadlines.
* Actively contribute improvement ideas for existing laboratory processes, understanding workflow, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions that enhance efficiency—always prioritizing workplace safety.

**Requirements and qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree (Chemistry Teaching, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Chemical Processes)
* Desired experience in key techniques used in pharmaceutical industry quality control, such as: Dissolution, Assay, Weight and Content Uniformity, Impurities, Degradation Products, Chromatography, Spectrophotometry, NIR system, Hardness, Friability, Disintegration, Brix Degree, among others. Experience with analytical documentation focused on quality control.
* Analytical, organized, and quality-control-focused professional committed to pharmaceutical industry quality control activities. Ability to work effectively in teams, continuous learning, and adaptability to laboratory routines, while maintaining ethical conduct, technical responsibility, and focus on regulatory and quality requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry is considered a differentiating factor.
