Education company. **Responsibilities and duties** * **Assessment Quality Control:** Review and validate tests and activities, ensuring alignment with **Bloom's Taxonomy** (elevating cognitive levels) and **syntactic parallelism** in item statements, in collaboration with the coordinating teacher. * **Monitoring of Lesson Plans:** Participate in the annual calendar review with academic guidance and pedagogical leadership; develop detailed quarterly calendars; analyze weekly lesson plans and gradebook entries to ensure curriculum implementation and application of methodological strategies. * **Classroom Observation and Feedback:** Observe classes, focusing on teacher posture, classroom management, discipline control, and student engagement, providing formative feedback. * **Continuous Professional Development:** Collaborate with academic guidance to organize biweekly pedagogical meetings for core faculty, promoting pedagogical alignment and targeted professional development. Also coordinate parent-teacher conferences. * **Performance Thermometer Management:** Monitor and/or update the grading system, identifying students exhibiting declining performance after each assessment cycle. * **Immediate Pedagogical Intervention:** Design parallel recovery plans and customized study routines together with NAPPE for struggling students, emphasizing supportive yet non-permissive approaches. * **Workload Mapping:** Coordinate assessment schedules and assignment deadlines with teachers to prevent student overload during the same week while maintaining academic rigor. * **Combating Stigmatization:** Monitor teacher discourse in class councils and meetings to ensure no student or class is labeled and all are recognized as having potential for growth. * **Technical Support for Families:** Conduct parent meetings addressing strictly pedagogical matters (grades, study methods, learning difficulties), aligned with Educational Coordination. * **Participatory Class Councils:** Organize and lead class councils, focusing on unifying the teaching team’s discourse regarding strategies for each student. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Pedagogy or related fields (Languages, Humanities, or Exact Sciences, provided substantial pedagogical experience). * Postgraduate qualification (Specialization, Master’s, or Doctorate) in Education (School Management, Coordination/Supervision, Assessment, Psychopedagogy). * Proven solid experience in education, preferably in Upper Elementary or High School. * Prior experience in pedagogical supervision, coordination, or school management roles. * Proficiency in and/or willingness to learn **Bloom's Taxonomy** and its application in assessment item design. * Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn syntactically rigorous assessment design techniques (**parallelism**). * Ability to read and critically analyze statistical performance reports (grades, averages, promotion rates). * Proficiency in and/or willingness to learn educational technology tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data monitoring). * **Assertive Communication:** Ability to deliver challenging feedback to teachers clearly and empathetically, and to communicate transparently with families. * **Supportive but Non-Permissive Approach:** Capacity for active listening and empathy toward the challenges faced by 6th/7th-grade students, without compromising academic expectations or discipline. * **Rigor and Organization:** Attention to detail in reviewing materials and managing deadlines. * **Motivational Leadership:** Ability to inspire teachers to raise their pedagogical standards, even amid challenges. * **Systems Thinking:** Understanding how supervision of 6th/7th grades impacts future outcomes for 12th grade.
