





**Description and Responsibilities:** **Work Schedule:** 44 hours per week (220 hours per month) **Level:** Professional **Employment Regime:** Tenured — CLT labor code Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards, analytical systems, scripts, and digital tools for monitoring industrial indicators. Conduct technical studies, diagnostics, and analyses commissioned by companies and institutions. Carry out market research, industrial surveys, and economic analyses, interpreting trends and forecasts. Produce economic bulletins, technical reports, conjunctural notes, and sectoral analyses. Perform structured patent searches, technological trend analyses, and industrial activity monitoring. Process, organize, and integrate internal and external databases for strategic use. Support innovation and competitiveness projects with qualified information for decision-making. Assist in developing the Observatory’s digital products (websites, public dashboards, data repositories). Assist in drafting structuring projects when they involve Observatory activities. Click here to access the job announcement. **Requirements:** **Mandatory Education:** Economics, Administration, Statistics, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Internet Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields. **Desirable Education:** Postgraduate degree in Data Analysis, Market Intelligence, Industrial Policies, Data Science, Data Engineering, Competitive Intelligence, or Analytical Systems Development. **Experience:** Experience in market research, economic or industrial data analysis, or market intelligence. Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, technological prospecting, or sectoral studies. Practical experience building dashboards, automating reports, and visualizing data (e.g., IBGE, RAIS, CAEGED, CNI, INPI, etc.). **Technical Competencies:** Planning and execution of market research; Interpretation of economic and production indicators; Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data analysis tools (Python or R preferred); Familiarity with public and sector-specific databases (e.g., IBGE, CNI, RAIS, CAGED, etc.). **Behavioral Competencies:** Planning and execution of market research, surveys, and economic studies. Proficiency in applied statistics, time series, and production indicators. Advanced Power BI and Excel Programming for data analysis: Python or R Knowledge of process automation, ETL, APIs, and web scraping. Familiarity with public and industrial databases: IBGE, CNI, RAIS, CAGED, PNADC, INPI (patents), ComexStat, among others.
