Lead code/design reviews and team training An Engineering and Technology company is seeking a Software Engineer in São José dos Campos. **Responsibilities:** Define embedded software architecture (RTOS/bare-metal/SoC), requirements and interfaces, ensuring performance within the system control budget. Plan and execute the full lifecycle (requirementsdesigncodingV&Vrelease), with 100% traceability. Implement code and algorithms in C/C++ for various embedded platforms (e.g., ARM/DSP/MCU). Conduct V&V and unit/integration testing, achieving relevant coverage for critical modules. Integrate software with GNC, Electronics and Propulsion, validating communication (CAN, 1553B, Ethernet, Serial 422 and 485, etc). Design and validate FDIR, health monitoring and degraded modes, increasing operational availability. Address safety & cyber requirements (DO-178C/DO-331, ECSS-E-ST-40, DO-326A). Establish CI/CD (Git/Jenkins/GitLab CI), build automation (CMake/Bazel) and regression testing, reducing correction lead time to 48h. Lead code/design reviews, mentoring and team training, reducing future rework for the company. Prepare technical documentation and certification dossiers, ensuring on-time deliveries at project gates. Mentor junior engineers and technicians, promoting knowledge transfer and strengthening a design-for-reliability culture.
