Acts as a bridge between data and strategic decisions Service Data Analyst – Data analysis specialist responsible for generating KPIs, creating dashboards, and managing information strategically. Transforms service operations team data into actionable insights to improve operational efficiency, service level performance, and strategic planning. Develops innovative applications for automation, visualization, and process optimization, serving as a bridge between data and operational/strategic decision-making across the organization. **Responsibilities:** * Collect, integrate, and clean data from multiple operational sources (internal systems, spreadsheets, reports, etc.) to create a unified view of service team performance. * Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and KPIs monitoring operational efficiency, overtime hours, approval rates, and SLA compliance. * Design and implement innovative applications to automate manual processes, reduce rework, and enhance data-driven decision-making. * Analyze performance trends and identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimize resource allocation and increase team productivity. * Support users of applications developed either by or outside the Operational Intelligence team, and assist related department projects. Create management reports. * **Education and Certification:** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analysis, Information Technology, or related field. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) and dashboard creation tools (e.g., Power BI) is desirable. * **Requirements:** * Experience in data analysis — Power BI and automation tools * Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate * Experience with application development tools such as Power Apps * Solid knowledge of technology and networks * Experience in financial report analysis is desirable, including: Financial statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Budget, Forecast) * Knowledge of cost, expense, margin, and financial indicator analysis is desirable * Support decision-making through financial and operational indicators * Knowledge of data modeling applied to finance * Ability to integrate financial and operational data to generate business insights Experience in corporate environments utilizing indicator-based management (KPIs) * At Vertiv, we offer the stability of a global leader in a growing industry *and* the opportunity of a startup.
