Opportunity to participate in migration/modernization projects Senior professional responsible for the analysis, maintenance, and evolution of legacy systems in the IBM z/OS environment, performing technical and functional requirements gathering, application and database mapping, identification of risks and interdependencies, as well as supporting testing, acceptance activities, and platform migration processes. **Job Description** * Gather and analyze technical and functional requirements for the z/OS environment * Map legacy systems, applications, source code, and databases * Identify system interdependencies, risks, and critical points * Propose technical solutions and support testing and acceptance activities * Produce clear technical documentation to support future platform migration * Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and production teams * Analyze and propose performance improvements for legacy source code and databases Manipulate and optimize DB2 databases * **Mandatory Requirements** Solid experience in systems analysis within the IBM z/OS environment Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields Proven knowledge of: * COBOL * Batch processing (JCL/PROC) * CA-Endevor or Changeman (version management) * IBM DB2 * IMS/DB and IMS/TM * VSAM and QSAM files * CICS (transactional environment) * Control-M (job orchestration) * TSO/ISPF **Desirable Knowledge** * Data modeling and technical solution design * CSP/AD (Cross System Product / Application Development) * XPEDITER (debugging) * Natural/ADABAS, Assembler, CA-ROSCOE, CA-Easytrieve Plus * Experience in legacy system migration or modernization projects * Performance analysis using APA (IBM Application Performance Analyzer) * Development of processing flows **Desirable Knowledge** * Experience with data modeling and technical solution design * Experience with **CSP/AD (Cross System Product / Application Development)** * Use of **XPEDITER** for program debugging * Knowledge of **Natural/ADABAS, Assembler, CA-ROSCOE, and CA-Easytrieve Plus** * Participation in **legacy system migration or modernization projects** * Performance analysis and measurement using **APA (IBM Application Performance Analyzer)** * Development of **processing flows**
