Collaboration with development, architecture, and business teams **Date:** April 22, 2026 **Location:** São Paulo, São Paulo **Company:** B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão **About the Role** **Position:** Senior Software Quality Analyst **Location:** São Paulo/SP **Publication Date:** 04/22/26 **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** * Serve as the functional quality reference for products and projects under Counter Platform Modernization—from understanding business demands through to acceptance testing and production deployment; * Analyze functional requirements, business rules, and process flows—identifying impacts, quality risks, and test needs; * Design, review, and maintain functional test scenarios and cases, as well as test data sets—ensuring adequate coverage of requirements and critical counter workflows; * Plan and execute functional tests (system, integration, and regression), documenting evidence and results while ensuring traceability among requirements, test cases, and defects; * Validate end-to-end workflows involving multiple systems (legacy and modern), verifying data, calculations, events, and messages exchanged between applications; * Log, analyze, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle—collaborating with development, architecture, and business teams to identify root causes and prevent recurrence; * Support business users and partner areas during acceptance testing and UAT cycles—preparing environments, test data, test scripts, and clarifying functional questions; * Contribute to continuous improvement of the testing processes within the department—proposing adjustments to workflows, acceptance criteria, documentation, and test management tools; * Participate in agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives), bringing the functional quality perspective—including risk and dependency assessments—to delivery planning. **Department Responsibilities** * Ensure quality of high-volume transaction counter systems, with complex integrations and stringent availability and reliability requirements; * Conduct functional validations across scenarios involving multiple legacy and modern systems—ensuring data consistency, adherence to business rules, and compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements; * Support modernization initiatives (refactoring, migration, new architectures), guaranteeing preservation or enhancement of functional behavior with minimal impact on market participants; * Collaborate with development, architecture, business, and operations teams—bringing the functional quality and risk perspective from backlog refinement through to production deployment; * Continuously evolve the functional testing process—strengthening traceability among requirements, test cases, and defects—and promoting a culture of quality across the department. **What We Expect From You** * Completed undergraduate degree—preferably in STEM or technology-related fields; * Technical reading proficiency in English (documentation, specifications, tools); * Prior experience in Software Quality/Engineering with focus on functional testing—including analysis, planning, and execution of tests in complex systems; * Experience in corporate environments with multiple integrations (APIs, message queues, services, batch jobs), emphasizing end-to-end workflow validation; * Ability to design test scenarios based on business requirements and regulatory rules; * Solid knowledge of functional test types (system, integration, regression, UAT); * Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot); * Knowledge of test and defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM or similar); * Knowledge of test case design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, use cases); * Knowledge of Postman and BDD; * Knowledge of programming languages and databases; * Experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). **Nice-to-Have Qualifications** * Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments; * Experience in financial markets or high-criticality environments (exchanges, banks, payment systems, insurance);
