The selected candidate will work within EA S SO TL&PRJ — Siemens Brasil’s Smart Infrastructure business unit — as a protection and control systems designer. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Coordinator within the EA Operations team, the role involves working in a multidisciplinary team with interfaces across both customer and internal Siemens teams. **What will be your responsibilities?** * Design electrical and construction layouts for protection and control panels using CAD software, based on technical specifications and agreed-upon work statement documentation with the customer; * Review and analyze substation yard equipment drawings, including circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and potential transformers, power transformers, reactors, and others. * Review and analyze single-line and three-line diagrams of power systems; * Develop logical diagrams for protection and control IEDs using CAD software, aligned with application requirements and project-defined philosophies; * Prepare material lists and execute the panel freeze process prior to production commencement; * Support the factory during panel manufacturing; * Design communication architecture using CAD software, aligned with application requirements and project-defined philosophies; * Participate in meetings with the customer for drawing review and approval. **What qualifications are we seeking?** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, or Technical Education in Electrotechnics, Automation, or Electronics, or related technical fields. * Knowledge of power electrical systems is desirable. * Familiarity with ONS network procedures is desirable. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Experience with CAD software — AutoCAD, CADgraph, or EngineerBase — is desirable. * Experience with configuration software — DIGSI, SICAM SCC/A8000, SAGE — is desirable. * English language proficiency is considered a plus. **What behavioral skills are valued?** * Proactive learning and development orientation. * Inquisitive and analytical mindset. * Strong communication skills. * Commitment to goals and tasks. * Energetic / Dedicated * Motivation and engagement when facing challenges. **Additional information:** * Location: Jundiaí. * Willingness to travel.
