Data Tech Lead

Looqbox is an artificial intelligence tool that transforms enterprise data into action. We are looking for a **Data Tech Lead** to bridge the gap between customer needs and the technical deliverables of the team, contributing business insight, prioritization, and support to the data team. **Key Responsibilities** * Evaluate and prioritize requests together with the Data Analysts team, considering complexity, effort, and business impact. * Support communication between Product Managers (PMs) and the data team, ensuring clarity on deadlines, scope, and technical feasibility. * Provide technical guidance and support to the Data Analysts team, contributing to the development of dashboards, analyses, and data layers in Looqbox. * Conduct periodic 1:1 meetings with Data Analysts to monitor technical development and performance. * Collaborate daily with the Data Analysts and PM teams, serving as the senior technical reference for the data team. * Ensure customer objectives and requirements are accurately translated into metrics, KPIs, and data requirements by the team. * Guide and review complex exploratory and ad hoc analyses (cohorts, funnels, segmentation, performance variations, root cause analysis), directly handling the most critical cases. * Define guidelines and ensure consistency of the semantic layer of metrics (definitions, business rules, dimensions) and team documentation. * Establish and review data visualization standards and delivery quality standards for the team. **Requirements** * Solid experience in Python (pandas, numpy, notebooks) and SQL. * Prior experience managing or leading people/teams. * Ability to assess technical priority and complexity of requests, and negotiate deadlines and expectations. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ease transitioning between technical and business language. * Descriptive statistics and basic inferential concepts. * Good programming practices: version control (Git), documentation, refactoring. * Intermediate English proficiency. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with AI tools applied to data. * Experience in the retail sector. * Experience working with mid- to large-sized clients. * Dimensional modeling and building semantic layers for analytics. * Orchestration/ETL tools (e.g., Airflow) and non-relational databases. **Employment Type:** * Independent Contractor (PJ) * 100% Remote **Benefits:** * R$ 1\.100,00 flexible VR/VA allowance via Caju card, usable also for Mobility, Culture, Health, and Education. * Fully company-paid SulAmérica health insurance plan, with no co-payment. * Fully company-paid MetLife dental insurance plan, with no co-payment. * Wellhub (Gympass) for physical and mental well-being. * Reading and education incentives.
