Execution of tasks ranging from low to medium complexity with a focus on development **Job Description** We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Reference Data team. NIQ’s Reference Data team is responsible for ensuring the standardization, quality, and consistency of the information underpinning our analytics and solutions. To achieve this, it organizes and maintains reference data through classification, updating, and continuous validation of information—ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with global guidelines. This work enables clients and internal teams to access reliable data essential for strategic decision-making and precise outcomes. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for cataloging items in NielsenIQ’s database across diverse product categories, including food, beverages, hygiene, beauty, cleaning, and other categories. This activity involves analyzing detailed product information and classifying items according to specific attributes such as manufacturer, brand, weight, flavor, packaging type, and other relevant characteristics. **Responsibilities** * Classify products using NielsenIQ databases, adhering to established rules, documentation, and guidelines. * Conduct basic online research to verify item attributes and support categorization. * Apply category methodologies and definitions operationally, focusing on productivity and consistency. * Process simple client requests (Client Orders) within the standard workflow and escalate when necessary. * Report bugs, inconsistencies, and production issues using defined templates and guidelines. * Perform tasks ranging from low to medium complexity, under frequent supervision and with a focus on technical development. **Qualifications** * Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative roles (mandatory) * Intermediate Excel proficiency * Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency * Intermediate English proficiency (desirable) * Basic Spanish proficiency (mandatory) **Additional Information** Job ID: R26\_0003774 **Our Benefits** * Flexible working environment * Volunteer time off * LinkedIn Learning * Employee\-Assistance\-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
