This professional is responsible for applying waterproofing products on construction surfaces and structures to protect materials from liquid and vapor penetration: Floors, Slabs, Roofs, Walls, Coverings, Retaining Walls. Prepares surfaces, applies waterproofing materials, performs preventive and corrective maintenance. Selects tools and equipment; determines required human resources. Selects materials, specifies them, and verifies required quantities; inspects material quality and arranges appropriate storage. Obtains area clearance for work execution. Signals the isolated area; executes the contracted isolation service, installing anchoring devices to prevent falls. Calculates insulation thickness and its thermal conductivity.
