Key responsibilities: * **Operation of Systems and Equipment**: Perform safe field and control room operations, monitor real-time process variables, and implement corrective actions to ensure stable and reliable operation. * **Operational Safety**: Implement lockout/tagout (LOTO), conduct risk assessments, issue work permits, and execute emergency response plans in accordance with established protocols. * **Monitoring and Communication**: Manage inputs and chemicals, ensure proper waste disposal, record incidents, and maintain direct, aligned communication with supervision. * **Documentary and Technical Management**: Review and update operational procedures; master plant systems through study of manuals, P&IDs, and technical documentation. * **Diagnosis and Autonomous Maintenance**: Troubleshoot processes and equipment, carry out safe interventions, and perform small-scale preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. * **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams, monitor third-party activities, and uphold safety and compliance standards. * **Organization and Housekeeping**: Ensure organization and cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and systems under your responsibility. * **Incident Investigation and People Development**: Investigate low-complexity operational events, propose corrective/preventive actions, and train less-experienced colleagues.
