Materials Technician / Estimator

* Job responsibilities: * **Prepare detailed budgets for civil works, mechanical installations, and layout changes, covering materials, labor, timelines, scope, and any additional resources.** * Submit budgets for stakeholder/client approval, ensuring clarity, cost traceability, and technical justifications. * **Select and manage external suppliers (materials, services, specialized labor), ensuring budgets align with technical specifications, deadlines, and approved costs.** * Monitor measurements, deliveries, invoicing, and ensure contracts and addenda remain under control. * **Monitor construction, renovation, or layout change schedules — ensuring execution proceeds on time and in accordance with quality, safety, and specification standards.** * Conduct periodic inspections, identify scope, timeline, or cost deviations, propose corrective actions, and report progress. * **Conduct technical site visits to clients, construction sites, or suppliers to assess environmental conditions, interfaces, existing infrastructure, feasibility verification, measurements, and validation of proposed solutions.** * Document assessments and generate technical reports or opinions supporting budgets, scopes, and execution. * **Engage with clients in a technical and consultative capacity: understand requirements, clarify questions, monitor services, and ensure deliverables are provided as agreed.
