Maintenance Technician

Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work in a metallurgical industry, responsible for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of machines, equipment, and industrial facilities, ensuring the proper operation of production processes and equipment availability. Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machines and equipment * Identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures * Carry out adjustments, repairs, component replacements, and functional tests * Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules * Record performed services and maintenance incidents * Assist in the installation and assembly of machines and equipment * Ensure proper operation of production equipment * Collaborate with production, engineering, and occupational safety teams * Contribute to improvements in maintenance processes and reduction of downtime * Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and workplace * Comply with company safety regulations and internal procedures Required Qualifications: * Completed technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields * Prior experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in metallurgical industries * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams * Familiarity with machine tools, industrial equipment, and production processes * Availability for on-site work Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance * Experience with welding and machining * Knowledge of PLCs and electrical control systems * Certifications in NR-10, NR-12, and NR-35 * Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance Behavioral Competencies: * Organization and commitment * Proactivity and sense of urgency * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Teamwork * Good communication Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Free parking * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Food voucher * Transportation voucher Work Location: On-site Compensation: R$100.00 - R$200.00 per month Work Location: On-site
