Job Summary: An Industrial Automation Technician installs, programs, operates, and maintains automated systems to ensure the efficient operation of machines and production processes. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and maintenance of industrial automation systems 2. Programming and parameterization of PLCs and industrial instruments 3. Fault diagnosis and proposal of process improvements The Industrial Automation Technician is responsible for installing, programming, operating, and maintaining industrial automated systems to guarantee the proper functioning of machines, equipment, and production processes, with a focus on safety, productivity, and operational efficiency. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform installation, preventive, and corrective maintenance on industrial automation systems; * Program and parameterize PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), frequency inverters, sensors, and industrial instruments; * Work on electrical control and power panels; * Conduct fault diagnostics on automated equipment; * Monitor machine performance and propose improvements to industrial processes; * Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams; * Perform functional testing and commissioning of equipment; * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards; * Support electrical, mechanical, and production maintenance teams when required; * Prepare technical reports and maintenance records. **Requirements:** * Completed Technical Course in Industrial Automation, Electrotechnology, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related fields; * Experience in this role or in related industrial areas; * Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, electrical controls, and industrial instrumentation; * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; * Knowledge of NR\-10 will be considered an advantage; * Availability for flexible working hours, when necessary. **Desired Competencies:** * Proactivity; * Logical reasoning; * Organization; * Teamwork; * Problem-solving agility; * Commitment to results; * Attention to detail.
