Description
We are seeking an organized and analytical professional to manage the lifecycle of our fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle availability, controlling operational costs, and guaranteeing that maintenance (preventive and corrective) is always up to date, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational safety.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Maintenance Management:** Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules; manage corrective maintenance and negotiate with workshops/suppliers.
**Administrative Control:** Manage documentation (IPVA, licensing, ANTT), traffic fines, accidents, and insurance.
**Monitoring and Tracking:** Monitor the fleet in real time, supporting the operations team regarding trackers.
**Cost Management:** Create and monitor performance indicators (KPIs), such as average fuel consumption, cost per kilometer ($CPK$), and tire-related expenses.
**Fuel Procurement Management:** Issue and audit fuel cards for drivers, ensuring sufficient balance for the planned route and avoiding unplanned stops due to insufficient credit.
**Fleet Checklists:** Develop, implement, and audit vehicle departure and return checklist processes.
**Route and Pricing Management:** Monitor and direct drivers to refuel at accredited stations offering lower rates. Establish a fuel procurement policy based on optimal cost-benefit ratios per region.
**Fuel Consumption Audit:** Cross-reference operational data with system statements to identify fuel consumption deviations, inappropriate behaviors, or irregularities in refueling activities.
**Management Reporting:** Create dashboards or control spreadsheets to report fleet performance to senior management.
Requirements: **Knowledge:** Sascar, OpenTech, and Veloe.
**Experience:** Prior experience in transportation companies or fleet logistics.
**Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and familiarity with tracking systems.
**Profile:** Exceptional organizational skills, agility in problem-solving, and strong communication abilities for interacting with drivers and suppliers.
**Economic Focus:** Analytical capability to identify pricing opportunities and strategically negotiate or select stop points.
**Education:** Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Logistics or Business Administration.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Basic mechanical technical knowledge.
Experience with tire management systems (tread life and retreading).
Defensive driving or risk management training.
