Job Summary: Extrusion Machine Operator responsible for operating, adjusting, and preparing machines, controlling process parameters, inspecting products, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and adjust the extrusion machine according to production orders. 2. Monitor and visually inspect the product for compliance. 3. Ensure product conformity with technical specifications. **Position:** Extrusion Machine Operator \- PP / PCR \- Recycled **Department:** Production **Reports to:** Production Supervisor **Job Description – Extrusion Machine Operator** **JOB FUNCTIONS** * Operate, adjust, and prepare the extrusion machine according to production orders and operational instructions; * Perform setup and feed the extruder with appropriate raw materials; * Control process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed), making necessary adjustments; * Monitor and visually inspect the product, verifying thickness, dimensions, and conformity with technical standards; * Perform cleaning, workplace organization, and basic preventive maintenance of the machine; * Complete operational records and production orders; * Support other production departments as requested, ensuring continuous process flow. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure product conformity with technical and quality specifications; * Comply with safety regulations (NR\-12, LOTO) and correctly use provided PPE; * Maintain equipment in good condition and ensure a clean, organized work environment; * Report irregularities, process or equipment failures to the immediate supervisor and/or maintenance team; * Collaborate in achieving objectives defined in the company's Quality Policy and in safety and environmental standards. **QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES** **Education** * Completed elementary education (mandatory); * Completed high school education (preferred). **Technical Skills** * Prior experience operating extruders (preferably in plastics or recycling industry); * Technical knowledge of extrusion parameters (temperature, pressure, speed); * Basic understanding of quality and metrology; * Ability to read and interpret production orders and complete records; * Familiarity with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers); * Knowledge of applicable safety regulations (NR\-12, LOTO). **Behavioral Competencies** * Attention to detail and focus; * Discipline and care for both process and product; * Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity; * Proactivity and initiative in correcting faults; * Team spirit and effective communication Employment Type: Permanent CLT Salary: R$2\.200,00 \- R$3\.000,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Commercial agreements and discounts * Life insurance * Meal allowance Selection Question(s): * Have you previously worked at a Plastic Recycling company? * Do you have experience as an Extrusion Operator (PP/PCR)?
