**CURRENT POSITION:** CLINICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
**AREA:** CLINICAL ENGINEERING
**DESCRIPTION:**
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment. Provide technical support to unit staff regarding equipment usage. Perform administrative tasks such as equipment registration, creation and closure of service orders, budget request submission, and forwarding equipment for external maintenance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
● Register and update information for all medical equipment in the Maintenance Management System to ensure an updated inventory and maintenance history for all medical equipment at the Institution;
● Ensure that the preventive maintenance and calibration schedule for medical equipment is executed according to plan, either by internal or external teams, to guarantee that equipment operates in accordance with usage specifications and applicable regulations;
● Ensure that the quality control and radiometric survey schedule for radiological equipment is performed as stipulated by management, to guarantee compliance with current regulations;
● Configure imaging equipment in the Institution's Imaging System according to established standards to ensure archiving of radiological examination images;
● Create and close service orders in the Maintenance Management System to record performed services and maintain up-to-date equipment history;
● Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for medical equipment to verify effectiveness of procedures executed by external teams;
● Perform preventive and corrective interventions on medical equipment according to knowledge and training acquired per modality, ensuring equipment returns to operational use;
● Request preventive and corrective maintenance quotations from third-party companies, forwarding proposals to the Technical Supervisor or Clinical Engineer for analysis, aiming to achieve optimal cost\-benefit ratio for maintenance execution;
● Forward medical equipment to third-party companies for maintenance, verifying established deadlines, addressing potential delays, and requesting return to ensure traceability of equipment transportation process;
● Support other departments of the Institution (Nursing and Medical Team) through technical assistance and training to clarify any questions regarding medical equipment.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION:**
Completed High School with Technical Course in Electrotechnology, Electronics, or Medical Equipment
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:**
At least 1 year of experience in Clinical Engineering.
**LANGUAGES:**
Basic English desirable
**DESIRED KNOWLEDGE:**
Computer skills (Office Suite and Internet resources)
Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems
Knowledge of medical equipment
Active CREA registration

**SALARY:**
R$ 5\.700,00 to R$ 5\.800,00 (Approximate value, subject to change)
