We are seeking a **Bricklayer** to join our **Infrastructure** team at the **Pecém** terminal. If you wish to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and safe environment, this is the ideal opportunity! You will support infrastructure maintenance activities, contributing to smooth operations and ensuring everyone’s safety. Join a team that keeps our company in perfect condition and helps drive the global economy! **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and level ground for paving, including cleaning, grading, compaction, and ensuring proper drainage. * Construct pavement base and sub-base using appropriate equipment. * Prepare and apply mortar for masonry, laying, and surfacing. * Build foundations, walls, columns, retaining walls, and other masonry or concrete structures. * Perform plastering and surface finishing, respecting plumb and level requirements. * Lay interlocking blocks according to design specifications, including cutting, fitting, grouting, and final compaction. * Carry out corrective maintenance on buildings, sidewalks, and structures, performing various repairs. * Assemble and disassemble wooden or metal scaffolding. * Construct concrete bases for installation of machinery, poles, and other equipment. * Perform other duties related to the position, as directed by supervisors. **What talent are we looking for?** * **Education:** Completed high school. * **Experience:** Experience in operations involving basic tools, application of safety standards, and safe material handling practices, ensuring compliance with established procedures. * **Driver’s License:** Category B. * **Mandatory Training Courses:** NR18 – Safety in Civil Construction; NR35 – Working at Heights. * **Lean Mindset:** We seek someone with a strong continuous improvement mindset—a naturally curious individual committed to solving problems at their root and motivated to make things better every day. **Behavioral Competencies:** * **Responsibility and Safety Orientation:** Strictly adheres to safety, environmental, and operational standards, procedures, and best practices. * **Teamwork:** Collaborates effectively with colleagues and technicians, maintaining clear communication and focusing on collective results. * **Organization and Carefulness:** Keeps the workplace, tools, and equipment orderly and in good working condition. * **Proactivity and Attention to Detail:** Demonstrates initiative in tasks and executes activities with precision and technical quality.
