Interaction with business units for contractual adjustments We are looking for a professional to support the legal demands handled by our company, focusing on contract/guarantee formalization and directly managing the contracts and documents we receive—whether from customers or suppliers. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Organize contract formalization; monitor validity periods, expiration dates, and settlement deadlines. * Manage digital signature workflows on electronic platforms, ensuring signature validation and compliance. * Conduct basic analysis of corporate purpose and representation authority (shareholders, directors, and attorneys-in-fact). * Ensure standardization of contractual drafts and control of sensitive clauses (e.g., jurisdiction, early termination, cross-guarantees, etc.). * Interact with business units to clarify and propose adjustments to contractual clauses. * Monitor contract renewals with service providers. * Prepare reports and spreadsheets for contract tracking and deadline management. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Law (completed). * Prior experience in contract analysis and document formalization. * Basic knowledge of corporate law (constitutional acts, representation authority, powers of attorney). * Familiarity with contract law and negotiable instruments. * Experience with electronic signature platforms. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for controls and reporting). **Desirable Technical Requirements (Preferred Qualifications):** * Experience in agribusiness or structured credit operations. * Knowledge of CPR (Rural Product Receipt), agricultural pledge, fiduciary assignment, and mortgage. * Familiarity with rural property registry analysis. * Basic knowledge of notarial registrations (Real Estate Registry and Title Registration). * Understanding of credit recovery and bill protest procedures. **Additional Information** Founded in 2008, AGROJEM stands out for its ability to intelligently and sustainably integrate the animal protein production chain. With over 500 employees and a total area of 50,000 hectares—including 25,000 hectares preserved—all of the company’s farms are located in the state of Tocantins and comprise the São Geraldo (Caseara\-TO), Bacaba (Miranorte\-TO), Céu Azul (Divinópolis\-TO), Surubim (Ipueiras\-TO), and Terraboa (Almas\-TO) units, in addition to the corporate headquarters in Palmas\-TO. Focusing on meat production, AGROJEM projects slaughtering 95,000 head of cattle during the 2022/2023 harvest year, following completion of a new feedlot facility at the Bacaba unit (Miranorte\-TO) this year. There are now two feedlot units—the first installed at the São Geraldo unit. In agricultural operations, AGROJEM manages over 34,000 hectares across first and second harvests, with part of this production allocated to feed manufacturing for confined cattle. Through its JEM General Warehouses unit, the company has capacity to store its entire production and also provides third-party storage services using a fully automated infrastructure in Miranorte\-TO. Another key initiative is genetic improvement of the Nelore breed through the NELOREJEM brand, created to supply high-potential bulls and breeding stock to the market and responsible for annual auctions that are highlights in Brazil’s northern region. All these combined efforts result in high operational performance, generating guarantees for the meat industry. Currently, 95% of animals supplied by AGROJEM meet international export standards, with animals slaughtered at increasingly younger ages, an average weight of 24 arrobas, and carcass yield exceeding 57%.
