Responsibilities and Duties: Among your responsibilities are: * Monitor meal preparation processes; * Guide staff on proper food handling practices; * Assess food storage conditions and determine appropriate locations for storing each product; * Inspect storage equipment (refrigerators, warming cabinets, cold rooms); * Control incoming goods, recording receipt dates and suppliers; * Collect and store samples of all prepared foods; * Stay updated on current legislation regarding food storage and handling, as well as refrigerator and cold room temperatures; * Enforce proper use of PPE and uniforms by staff; * Establish cleaning schedules for equipment; * Perform other departmental procedures. Requirements and Qualifications: * Prior experience as a Nutrition or Food Technician preferred; * Technical training in Food Science or Nutrition and Dietetics; * Active CRN-TD or CRQ registration; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
