Cashier Operator

Description

**Know your mission:** * Accurately register products and collect payments; * Keep the POS (point of sale, or cashier station) clean and organized to optimize the payment process; * Verify banknotes for authenticity during cash payments to prevent cash drawer discrepancies; * Perform cash withdrawals in accordance with operational guidelines; * Combat shrinkage by using books, opening product boxes, and verifying merchandise; * Check product labels; * Serve at the receipt, exchange, and return counter, information desk, and drive-thru, providing customer service; * Support the sales area when needed (stock replenishment and inventory); * Implement anti-shrinkage actions by identifying potential theft attempts, label swapping, or packaging tampering at the POS; * Act as a multiplier of technical knowledge by offering solutions and ideas, and supporting other team members in their tasks; * Carry out daily anti-shrinkage activities, contributing to diagnostics and proposing improvements; * Provide support to treasury processes when required; * Participate in company projects, contributing knowledge and experience while continuously pursuing professional growth. **To join our team, you must have:** * Completed high school education; * Experience in cashier operations, product handling, and point-of-sale systems; * Knowledge of return and exchange policies and treasury processes. **Benefits Package:** * Medical assistance; * Dental assistance; * Life insurance; * Wellhub; * On-site meals; * Basic food basket; * Christmas basket; * Progress bonus; * Extended maternity and paternity leave; * Transportation allowance or parking; * All Adeo – annual free shares linked to overall company performance.
