Job Summary: Providing exceptional customer service, performing point-of-sale terminal operations, managing payments, and actively participating in the credit program while promoting promotional activities. Attracting new customers to the credit program and promoting promotions **WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE** * **Provide exceptional customer service**, operating the point-of-sale terminal efficiently using barcode scanners or manually entering product codes. * **Be responsible for the daily closing of the point-of-sale terminal**, accurately counting received amounts across various payment methods and reconciling them with sales records, identifying and investigating any discrepancies. * **Administer payments** in cash, credit or debit cards, ensuring purchase settlements and issuing corresponding purchase receipts to customers. * **Conduct meticulous verification of codes and labels**, requesting the cashier supervisor's presence in cases of disagreements with customers, thereby ensuring transparency in transactions. * **Handle cash drawer opening and closing**, serving customers promptly and accurately, registering their purchases and receiving corresponding payments. * **Actively promote at checkout** credit program products, store-branded cards, insurance, loans, protected bags, PCJ, and daily offers. * **Actively participate in the credit program**, attracting new customers and issuing credit proposals for analysis, as well as promoting current promotional campaigns.
