This role contributes directly to scalable model deployment, robust MLOps practices, and high-performance ML services that enable engineering and product teams across ESS. * Develop and deploy AI applications (e.g., agents) that meet functional and non-functional requirements by building accurate, clean, testable code, and exposing scalable inference endpoints. * Implement MLOps best practices across the lifecycle—experiment tracking, model/version registry, CI/CD for data \& models, automated testing, and rollout/rollback patterns. * Build and maintain data \& training pipelines (feature extraction, validation, drift checks) using cloud services and orchestration tools. * Integrate models with platform services (APIs, gateways, auth, logging/metrics) in partnership with platform and security teams. * Optimize performance and cost for training and inference (batching, quantization, caching, GPU utilization). * Operational excellence: participate in on-call/incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability hardening (alerts, SLOs, canaries). * Documentation and knowledge sharing (READMEs, runbooks, diagrams) and code reviews. * Cross-functional collaboration with product, data, and platform teams to refine requirements, scope work, and deliver on agreed timelines. * Compliance, security, and responsible AI practices in day-to-day work (data handling, privacy, model monitoring for drift/quality). **Qualifications** ------------------ * Advanced English and availability to work hybrid in São Carlos/SP. * Expert\-level Python engineering skills, with hands-on experience using modern ML and LLM frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain/LangGraph, or equivalent agent frameworks). * Proven experience designing and building agentic AI systems, including tool\-using agents, multi\-step reasoning workflows, planning/execution loops, memory management, and human\-in\-the\-loop patterns. * Strong command of ML and LLM lifecycle best practices, spanning experimentation, evaluation, versioning, deployment, observability, and continuous improvement of agent\-based systems. * Experience operationalizing AI at scale, including model serving, inference optimization, agent orchestration, and API\-driven ML/LLM services. * Ability to collaborate effectively in cross\-functional teams, clearly communicating complex agentic and ML concepts to engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. **Additional Information** -------------------------- **Why this role matters** This role protects Experian’s reputation and ensures ethical, compliant operations across Brazil.
