Laboratory Assistant

Description

We are seeking a professional to work in the laboratory's technical area, performing routines of **macroscopy, histotechnology, immunohistochemistry, and cytology**, contributing to the proper processing of samples and ensuring the technical quality of performed tests. **Main responsibilities:** * Perform technical laboratory routines related to Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology; * Carry out histological processing steps: tissue embedding, microtomy, slide staining (H\&E, Papanicolaou, and special stains), and slide mounting; * Prepare and handle laboratory reagents, dyes, and solutions; * Operate technical area equipment (tissue processor, microtome, stainer, slide mounter, among others); * Perform macroscopic examination and organization of received samples; * Prepare slides for special tests and immunohistochemistry; * Organize, archive, and manage slides, tissue blocks, and biological materials; * Conduct quality control of technical routines, including equipment and reagent monitoring; * Manage supply inventory and verify expiration dates; * Follow biosafety regulations and correctly use PPE; * Maintain a clean, organized workplace compliant with technical standards. **Requirements:** * Laboratory Assistant certification; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical responsibility; * Ability to work collaboratively in a team; * Commitment to quality and biosafety standards. **Preferred qualifications:** * Experience or knowledge in Anatomic Pathology laboratory routines or related fields; Compensation: starting at R$2\.136,94 per month Benefits: * Transportation allowance Work location: On-site
