Opportunity for professional development and growth **Job Category** ================ Production & Skilled Trades**Position Summary** ==================== Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, and design and execute replacement of obsolete equipment with new units, aiming to keep machinery in optimal condition for production.**Responsibilities** ==================== Perform preventive and predictive electrical/electronic maintenance on industrial machinery (e.g., software updates, module modifications, servo-motor installation, frequency inverters, DC modules, etc.), conducting on-site inspection checklists per procedures, recording results, identifying intervention needs, and scheduling preventive actions (e.g., adjustments, configurations, part replacements, etc.) to minimize corrective interventions during mass production; Conduct functional tests on equipment jointly with operations following both preventive and corrective interventions, requesting material production and verifying full functionality—from setup through actual production—to certify complete operational readiness; Perform corrective electrical/electronic maintenance based on work orders generated by operations, verifying machine functionality on-site, operating electronic control panels, reviewing parameters, performing configurations, replacing sensors or photoelectric cells as needed, identifying root causes of issues and possible solutions, and conducting functional tests until full functionality is ensured; Prepare electrical and electronic circuits for replacement of existing ones, assembling them on workbenches per manual instructions and performing tests and adjustments to enable installations during machine downtime; Design and execute replacement of equipment (e.g., frequency inverters, converters, PLCs, etc.) and update software for new equipment when necessary—reviewing equipment inventory lists to identify units currently obsolete or soon-to-be obsolete, consulting manufacturers for appropriate configuration software, analyzing incompatibilities, and seeking alternatives to align with required production operations; Request parts, components, and accessories required for preventive and/or corrective maintenance, contacting the warehouse and/or immediate supervisor if essential items are unavailable, to facilitate adjustments/repairs; Perform and/or request calibration of measurement equipment after each maintenance intervention and/or as identified in checklists, to ensure parameter accuracy; Close maintenance work orders, recording detected incidents, time spent on preventive or corrective interventions, resources used, and other required fields, to maintain a maintenance history. **Minimum Qualifications** ========================== **Education:** Completed High School and Technical or Vocational Training **Other Courses/Specialized Knowledge/Skills:** Technical Course in Electronics with CREA registration / Advanced knowledge of PLC programming, with emphasis on Rockwell / Knowledge of industrial networks / Training in motor drives and motors / Intermediate English.
