We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. **PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE ROLE** ----------------------------------- As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring internal projects from initiation through to completion. In this role, you will lead and direct activities with defined durations to ensure objectives are achieved within established timelines and budgets. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------ * Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in areas such as agriculture, navigation, or manufacturing. * Monitor project progress, assess issues, and recommend solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals. * Review project status and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports. * Coordinate operational aspects of assigned projects. * Drive and support integration and compliance with corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of new facilities, processes, equipment, and utilities. * Collaborate with regional domain leaders to provide specialized support for construction projects. * Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex problems to the appropriate team. * Perform other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- **MINIMUM** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience. * Solid experience in project management and implementation. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or related software. * Knowledge of PMBOK. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Willingness to relocate to the Santarém/PA region. * Willingness to travel. * **PREFERRED** * Knowledge of navigation and/or port operations. * Driver’s license Category B. * Familiarity with agile methodologies applied to engineering projects (e.g., Scrum). #LI-Onsite #LI-GE2 At Cargill, every person matters.
