Job Summary: A professional responsible for assisting in production department activities, supporting the handling, movement, and preparation of carbon steel plates as well as cutting with a torch. Safety, organization, and teamwork **Job Description:** A professional responsible for assisting in production department activities, supporting the handling, movement, and preparation of carbon steel plates, as well as the cutting process using a "turtle-type" torch. Must collaborate to ensure activities are carried out according to technical specifications, quality standards, and company safety requirements. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in cutting carbon steel plates using a turtle-type torch, following instructions and work orders; * Support the preparation, adjustment, and operation of thermal cutting equipment; * Perform handling, transportation, and positioning of metal plates using an overhead crane, adhering to safety procedures; * Assist in verifying dimensions of plates and parts using tape measures and other measuring instruments; * Support department organization, material sorting, and plate preparation for the production process; * Comply with company safety, quality, and internal procedures. **Requirements:** * Experience or knowledge in production activities within the metallurgical or industrial sector; * Basic knowledge of overhead crane operation; * Basic knowledge of cutting using a turtle-type torch is considered a plus; * Basic knowledge of measurement using tape measures; * Commitment to safety, organization, and teamwork. * Completed high school education **Preferred Qualifications:** * Overhead crane operation training; * Prior experience in a metallurgical industry or sheet metal cutting facility; * Knowledge of safety standards applicable to industrial environments.
