Job Summary: A professional responsible for polishing metal parts, sheets, and welded joints, adhering to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Polish, sand, and brush metal parts (stainless steel) 2. Follow production orders and planning schedules 3. Ensure uniformity in finishes and quality standards Perform polishing on metal parts, sheets, and welded joints (stainless steel), including sanding, brushing, and buffing. Use the required PPE for the job (gloves, hairnet, mask, leather apron, ear protection, safety boots), as mandated by occupational safety regulations. Receive and review production orders; follow PCP instructions, schedules, and plans. Position and secure parts to be processed. Prepare work equipment by replacing and mounting sandpaper and brushes. Use material handling equipment; fetch and transport parts and structures. Receive materials from other departments, verify quantities and damages. Adhere to company quality standards to prevent deformations and ensure finish uniformity. Clean polished materials using approved cleaning agents. Record operation hours and times, completing part production orders. Request replenishment of polishing consumables from the warehouse.
