Operating in Brazil for over 10 years, it employs approximately 350 professionals nationwide, delivering product development services to vehicle manufacturers and automotive component suppliers. **Job Description** **Responsibilities:** * Lead the development of frameworks and proprietary code for analyzing electrified propulsion technologies. * Perform modeling activities from first principles to develop high-complexity models. * Integrate basic or advanced control logics governing the physical behavior of embedded models within frameworks and proprietary code. * Develop pre- and post-processing tools to support resolution of issues related to the use of frameworks and proprietary code. * Communicate results through oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, Centers of Excellence (COEs), component engineers, and powertrain managers. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** * Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Automotive). * Prior experience in the automotive sector. * Proficiency in English (spoken and written). * In-depth knowledge of vehicle propulsion systems (internal combustion engines, transmissions, axles, drivelines, batteries, and electric motors). * Strong expertise in hybrid and electrified control strategies, as well as energy management optimization. * Knowledge of Torque Path strategies for hybrid and electrified propulsion systems. * Familiarity with ECMS (*Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy*) for energy management. * Advanced proficiency in commercial tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and GT-Suite. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams. **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer. * Experience in production controls. * Experience with Git for code versioning and collaborative workflows. * Experience with vehicle testing or data analysis. **Additional Information** Hybrid work mode in Belo Horizonte Applus IDIADA is committed to **equality,** **diversity** and **inclusion**.
