Assess technical-economic feasibility of new ventures Brief Description Lead the strategy and development area for new mineral projects, responsible for prospecting, technical\-economic feasibility assessment, and development of innovative process routes. The professional will coordinate multidisciplinary teams (geologists, process engineers, and process route technicians) to identify business expansion opportunities, assess deposit potential, and develop technological solutions that add value to the company’s mineral products. Responsibilities · Coordinate the strategy and development team, including geologists, process engineers, and process route technicians. · Lead technical and economic feasibility studies for new mineral projects. · Supervise deposit analysis and characterization, including reserve estimation and ore quality assessment. · Coordinate development of mineral processing routes, aiming to maximize recovery and add value to the product. · Manage R&D projects for new mineral processing technologies. · Monitor bench-scale, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale tests for process route validation. · Evaluate and recommend investments in equipment and processing technologies. · Prepare technical reports and executive presentations on the feasibility and potential of new projects. · Establish strategic partnerships with universities, research centers, and technology suppliers. · Monitor market trends, technological innovations, and competitors’ activities. · Ensure alignment of development projects with corporate strategy and company growth targets. · Supervise the department’s budget and ensure efficient resource utilization. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Geology, or related fields. · Postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s degree, or MBA) is considered an advantage. · Solid experience in mineral project development, mineral processing, and/or mineral research. · Knowledge of project economic feasibility analysis (NPV, IRR, payback). · Experience managing multidisciplinary teams. · Advanced Excel proficiency. · Familiarity with process simulation software is an advantage. · Driver’s license category B. · Willingness to travel.
