Develop repair solutions and structural modifications for aerospace **Scope:** Full Time, Employed **Model:** Fully Onsite **Location:** Switzerland (relocation assistance provided) **Responsibilities:** * Perform static, dynamic, fatigue, and damage‑tolerance analyses for cabin installations and aircraft modifications. * Improve analysis workflows and support efficient cooperation with Mechanical Design Engineering. * Ensure all work meets applicable certification requirements and compliance standards. * Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate structural substantiation. * Review drawings and design data for structural integrity; provide feedback or approval as needed. * Develop repair solutions and structural modifications compliant with safety and certification criteria. * Collaborate with design engineers to achieve lightweight and efficient structures. * Produce analysis reports, compliance documents, and structural substantiation packages. * Support planning and execution of structural or material tests required for validation. * Contribute to internal engineering standards and best‑practice guidelines. **Qualifications** * Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or relevant field * 5\+ years working experience as a mechanical design engineer in aerospace \- essential * Profound knowledge of thermodynamics, fundamental physics, technical mechanics, aerospace technology and materials * Experience with mainstream CAD software (AutoCad, CATIA, Solidworks)
