Assist in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning the kitchen The Legião da Boa Vontade – LBV is hiring an **Industrial Kitchen Assistant**: The **Industrial Kitchen Assistant** is responsible for assisting the chef in food preparation, cooking, and plating, following strict hygiene and food safety standards at the Institution’s unit. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist in all necessary food preparations. * Operate kitchen equipment and utensils, such as blenders, industrial stoves, etc. * Participate in food pre\-preparation (monitor cooking, adjust seasonings) * Strictly comply with hygiene and food safety standards throughout the entire production process. * Assist in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning the kitchen. * Dispose of food waste appropriately, following hygiene and safety standards. * Perform other food production tasks as directed by the chef. * Use of PPE. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed high school; **Preferred experience:** In kitchen operations, as a kitchen assistant; * Basic knowledge of food cutting, cooking, and seasoning. * Knowledge of and practical experience in good hygiene practices to ensure food safety. * Ability to work effectively in a team and in an organized manner to meet production demands. **Additional Information** * Workload: **220h/month** * Schedule: **7:00 AM to 4:48 PM (Monday to Friday)** **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On\-site meals; * Life insurance; * Health plan \- after confirmation; * Dental plan \- after confirmation; * SESC membership; * Discounts on gyms and sports activities \- Wellhub; * Educational partnerships offering discounts on courses and universities; * Training and development program.
