




**JOB DETAILS** ----------------- Job Description: About the Company A capital goods manufacturer specializing in custom-engineered equipment and heavy fabrication, delivering high-complexity technical solutions for diverse industries. We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to strengthen our operations and support the company’s growth. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all stages of the factory’s production process—from planning through to shipping—ensuring compliance with quality requirements, delivery deadlines, and established budgets. Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional production teams—including maintenance, planning, and quality—to foster a high-performance, collaborative environment. Implement and sustain a culture of continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma), consistently optimizing processes, reducing waste, and increasing productivity. Coordinate the manufacturing of complex, custom-engineered equipment, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and customer expectations. Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling costs, expenses, and investments to maximize factory profitability. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by implementing and enforcing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and policies, and by conducting regular training and inspections. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, and Procurement to ensure seamless information flow, material availability, and strategic project alignment. Analyze factory performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective and preventive actions. ### **REQUIREMENTS** Technical and Educational Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical, or related field) or a relevant technical diploma plus postgraduate studies/MBA in related areas (e.g., Industrial Management, Project Management). Specific Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of custom-engineered equipment manufacturing processes and extensive experience in heavy fabrication services—including cutting, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing of complex metal structures. Experience Requirements Proven experience of at least 5–10 years as a Factory Manager or in a comparable leadership role within capital goods, machinery & equipment, or heavy industry companies. Solid experience managing high-performance teams and overseeing all aspects of custom equipment manufacturing processes. Skills and Competencies Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and manage large teams while fostering autonomy and engagement. Production and Industrial Process Management: Proficiency in production management methodologies and tools (e.g., MRP, Kanban, PPC) and industrial process management. Project and Budget Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Problem Analysis and Resolution: Strong analytical capability to identify issues, propose effective solutions, and make strategic decisions under pressure. Safety Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory norms (NRs) and best practices in Occupational Safety and Health. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels. Results Orientation: Focus on achieving goals and overcoming challenges.
