




**Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare meals, desserts, coffee, milk, controlling food quality, preparation time, and paying attention to flavor, in order to meet established menus; * Develop individualized diets according to prescribed menus and medical prescriptions; * Guide assistants in the pre-preparation of meals, supervising tasks performed to maintain service quality standards; * Monitor ingredient quantities, checking stock levels of perishable items to arrange necessary replenishments; * Ensure kitchen hygiene by applying correct methods of food handling, sanitization, and preservation, as well as arranging cleaning of equipment, facilities, and utensils; * Supervise and/or perform food pre-preparation according to established menus and appropriate techniques; * Report to immediate supervisor any irregularities found in product quality, as well as needs for repair or replacement of kitchen utensils, equipment, and facilities; * Ensure individual and collective safety by using appropriate personal protective equipment during service execution; * Carry out activities applying biosafety norms and procedures; * Be responsible for safeguarding, preserving, maintaining, and cleaning equipment, instruments, materials used, as well as the workplace; * Perform treatment and disposal of waste materials generated in the workplace; * Perform other related tasks as required or determined by the supervisor; * Collect samples of prepared foods and complete specific departmental worksheets (temperature, gender control, etc.) when necessary. **Institutional Responsibilities:** * Perform tasks focused on continuous improvement of institutional processes and patient safety; * Use resources (equipment, materials, and facilities) responsibly and safeguard institutional assets, immediately reporting any issues or changes to the supervisor; * Comply with Customer Service Excellence guidelines; * Fully comply with the Code/Ethics Manual and Employee Handbook; * Perform other related or inherent duties as described in the respective Professional Occupational Profile and/or when requested by the immediate supervisor. **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:** Certificate in Good Hygiene Practices in Food Manufacturing and Production.
