**COST ANALYST** **Job Description:** Responsible for performing cost analysis tasks; Responsible for analyzing cost variations, determining managerial results, analyzing budget changes, proposing process improvements to enhance control; Extract, analyze and reconcile monthly inventory reports that will be used in cost calculation; Analyze and identify causes and resolve any inconsistencies identified in the monthly cost calculation of finished goods, raw materials and work-in-progress products; Analyze and evaluate company results through financial statements, proposing new methodologies for cost structure and sales pricing; Conduct periodic inventories, determine accuracy rates and review processes causing inconsistencies; Perform monthly cost closing procedures and their respective accounting entries; Identify and analyze contribution margin per product, forecast vs. actual; Whenever necessary, review product structures regarding consumption of raw materials, inputs, packaging and production times. **Requirements:** Implement budget together with Controller's department, and monitor budgeted vs. actual; Create action plans for cost reduction; Prepare reports for management based on findings.
