Description
Operates and controls chemical processes, including weighing, solution preparation, mixing, and handling, storing, and transferring products in accordance with safety standards.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Retrieves materials from small shipments at the warehouse.
* Controls chemical products through chemical inventory counts (Apolinário and systems).
* Communicates purchase demand and requirements to the supervisor and team leader.
* Transports chemical products to departments using forklifts and tractors.
* Unloads sulfur and lime bags using a forklift and stores them in the sulfur warehouse.
* Unloads clarifier and ammonia, and transports bagged caustic soda stacked on pallets.
* Performs dosing from drums into tanks and directly from containers to the metering pump.
* Ensures compliance with POPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and company certifications.
* Supports off-season and harvest season planning.
* Manages SDSs (Safety Data Sheets) for all chemical products.
**Ongoing Challenges in This Role:**
* Enhance knowledge of chemical processes and substances.
* Maintain inventory control without shortages, overstocking, or product expiration.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Production Engineering, or currently enrolled from the 8th semester onward.
No prior experience required.
Previous experience in industrial environments is an advantage.
