You will be responsible for leading a high-performance engineering team, ensuring technical excellence, continuous professional development, and consistent delivery of strategic business solutions. ️ **Responsibilities** * Directly lead the engineering team, fostering professional growth through continuous feedback and Individual Development Plans (IDPs). * Cultivate a culture of constant learning, collaboration, and technical excellence. * Ensure timely deliveries aligned with established quality standards. * Apply agile methodologies and AI tools to optimize planning, estimation, and risk anticipation. * Act as a strategic partner to business areas, translating complex needs into scalable technological solutions. * Prioritize demands and backlog based on impact, value delivered, and strategic alignment. * Support architectural decisions, encouraging automation, artificial intelligence, and sound engineering practices. * Remove technical and organizational impediments affecting team productivity. * Negotiate scope, priorities, and deadlines with stakeholders when necessary. * Monitor system performance, availability, and health metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. ✅ **Requirements** * Solid experience in **software development**. * Experience in **leadership roles**, such as Tech Lead, Squad Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar. * Strong technical background in development using **Java**. * In-depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, networking, databases, and distributed systems. * Experience with microservices architecture and scalable applications. * Hands-on experience in cloud environments. * Experience with relational and non-relational databases. * Knowledge of software development best practices, CI/CD, version control, and design patterns. * Daily use of generative AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency. * **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in high-scale, high-availability environments. * Background in technology companies, fintechs, or digital businesses. * Experience with observability tools such as **Datadog, New Relic, Kibana**, or similar. * Involvement in projects applying automation and artificial intelligence to software development. * Experience in technological transformation and architectural modernization initiatives. **Your Day-to-Day** * Lead highly qualified professionals in a collaborative, results-oriented environment. * Actively participate in strategic technology decisions. * Influence the evolution of the company’s architecture and engineering practices. * Work closely with Product, Business, and Operations leadership. * Drive continuous innovation through adoption of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence. * Contribute directly to the scalability and sustainable growth of the business. **Work Model** **Work arrangement:** Remote **Employment type:** CLT * **Working hours:** Business hours **Structure and Benefits** * Market-competitive benefits package * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Meal allowance and/or food allowance * Remote work allowance * Wellhub/Gympass * Professional development programs * Innovation- and continuous-learning-oriented environment
