Senior Java Backend Developer

**What are we looking for?** **Main responsibilities:** Define best development practices; Program, code, and test systems in the language, moving between Front-End and Back-End development projects; Implement complex system functionalities; Propose technological enhancements to systems. Monitor adherence to best software development practices. Validate the existing test coverage in projects; Validate new application features; Monitor application system performance; Propose technological enhancements to systems; Anticipate opportunities and issues proactively, responding with agility, speed, and effectiveness by developing preventive solutions; Support and guide junior developers and contribute to project decision-making; Perform system maintenance, implementing necessary changes to meet user requirements; Carry out program assembly, debugging, and testing tasks, providing maintenance services for already-developed programs. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in IT (Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Systems, etc); * Advanced experience with Java and Spring Boot, including hands-on experience developing and optimizing code in these technologies; * Experience configuring projects using Gradle and Maven; * Understanding of Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles to ensure code maintainability and scalability; * Proficiency in Git for source code versioning; * Knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and MongoDB; * Code review techniques; * Experience implementing unit tests; * Familiarity with REST and SOAP architectures, API development, and Swagger usage; * Experience with microservices using Spring Boot and Docker and/or Kubernetes; * Linux knowledge; * Messaging experience with RabbitMQ and IBM MQ. **Work location:** This is an Anywhere Office position — you will work 100% remotely. **Who is Insi?** We are a consultancy specialized in digital transformation.
