Our innovative solutions **cover surgical scheduling, physician reimbursement, and much more**, helping the healthcare sector gain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the experience of healthcare professionals and patients. **Responsibilities and Duties** We are seeking a **DevOps / Cloud professional** who will be **responsible for ensuring the stability, governance, and evolution of Fin-X's infrastructure**. This person will have **real ownership** over: * DevOps * Infrastructure as Code (IaC) * Observability and monitoring * Cloud management * Infrastructure and application security **Key Responsibilities:** **Cloud Management** * Manage and evolve Fin-X's cloud environments, currently including: * Azure as the primary platform * Growing use of **GCP** * Managed services such as **MongoDB Cloud** * Ensure governance, organization, security, cost optimization, and availability of the environments. **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** * Assume **technical ownership of infrastructure as code** following the migration currently being carried out by a specialized partner. * Absorb knowledge of the new infrastructure and ensure its: * Sustenance * Evolution * Standardization * Prevention of regression to manual, untraceable approaches. **DevOps and CI/CD** * Operate and evolve modernized CI/CD pipelines. * Act as the **platform team**, supporting developers, tech leads, and managers. * Ensure predictable, secure, and low-friction deliveries. **Observability, Monitoring, and Availability** * Assume **full ownership of production monitoring**, including: * Applications * Infrastructure * Databases * Cloud resources (CPU, memory, network, etc.) * Work with modern observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). * Create and maintain alerts, metrics, and dashboards. * Ensure **production environment availability and predictability**, moving away from centralized dependency on a single individual. **Infrastructure and Application Security** * Serve as the technical reference for **cloud security**, including: * Identity and access (Entra ID / IAM) * Hardening * Environment segregation * Security best practices * Support the company in **responding to customer security questionnaires and technical audits**, with deep understanding of architecture and controls. * Support technical security configurations for integrations with customers. **Networking and Integrations** * Possess practical networking knowledge to: * Understand internal VPN architecture * Support site-to-site VPNs with customers * Diagnose connectivity issues between applications and databases **Sustenance and Correct Triage** * Support the team when applications encounter failures or downtime. * Know how to **correctly triage issues** (infrastructure vs. application), avoiding unnecessary overload on the infrastructure team. * Demonstrate maturity in handling the fact that infrastructure is often the “last resort” — even when the root cause lies elsewhere. **Continuous Improvement** * Understand the company’s real bottlenecks and current limitations. * Propose practical improvements to reduce rework, recurring incidents, and wasted time. * Help Fin-X scale without increasing operational chaos. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Expected Knowledge:** **Essential** * Cloud (Azure as primary; openness to GCP) * Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent) * CI/CD and automation * Containers and Kubernetes (AKS) * Modern observability and monitoring * Solid cloud security concepts * Managed databases (SQL, MongoDB Cloud) * Troubleshooting in production environments **Desirable** * Experience with critical systems (healthcare, finance, SaaS) * Experience handling production incidents * Experience responding to security questionnaires * Practical networking and VPN knowledge * Experience working with external customers **What We Expect From This Person:** * High autonomy and strong sense of responsibility * Strong communication skills with: * Developers * Tech Leads * Managers * Customers * Ability to rapidly absorb technical knowledge * **Ownership mindset toward infrastructure** * Focus on stability, predictability, and continuous improvement **Additional Information** **What You Gain by Joining Fin-X:** * **Real impact**: your work directly affects the company’s growth. * **PJ contract model**. * **100% remote**. * **Stock Options / Partnership**, based on performance and results. * **In-person retreats** twice per year. * **Full transparency** about the business and its direction. * **Semesterly performance reviews**: growth tied to your development * **Complete home office onboarding kit** * **Access to Fiibo**: exclusive benefits to simplify daily life * **Welhub**: a well-being platform to support your physical and mental health * **Vacation days** At Fin-X, our purpose is to connect all stakeholders in the healthcare sector using creative solutions, reducing costs, increasing transparency and credibility, making healthcare accessible to everyone, and positively impacting people’s lives in a human-centered way.
