**What are we looking for?** **Main responsibilities:** Program, code, and test systems in the specified language, transitioning between Front-End and/or Back-End development projects; Modify systems to meet new business rules; Perform system maintenance, making necessary adjustments to meet user requirements; Develop assembly, debugging, and testing activities for programs; perform maintenance services on already-developed programs; Carry out routine programming tasks. Assist in system evolution. Map business rules in existing systems. **Requirements:** Position: Junior Java Developer Education Completed undergraduate degree in Information Technology-related fields, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines. Experience Minimum of 2 years of software development experience using Java 11 or higher. Essential Technical Skills * Java 11 or higher; * Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); * Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data); * JPA/Hibernate; * Development and consumption of REST APIs; * Relational Database; * Git and version control workflow; * SOLID principles and major design patterns; * Layered architecture concepts; * Unit testing using JUnit and Mockito; * Knowledge of Maven or Gradle; * Familiarity with integration into corporate systems. Desirable Technical Skills * Containerization using Docker; * Kubernetes concepts; * Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD); * Messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ); * Angular (15+) or another modern frontend framework; * OpenAPI/Swagger; * DB2 or Oracle databases; * Experience in financial or banking domain projects; * Knowledge of microservices; * Observability fundamentals (logs, metrics, monitoring); * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). Artificial Intelligence Competencies Familiarity with Generative AI tools to support software development is desirable. Activities The professional will be involved in the development and maintenance of corporate systems, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
