**Senior JAVA Developer** We are looking for a **Senior JAVA Developer** to drive people and businesses forward through innovation, with attitude, leadership, and a focus on getting things done. **Your impact in this role:** Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot; Implement and integrate SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis); Maintain existing architectural standards and suggest improvements; Apply best practices in system development; Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests; Validate new application features; Assist in identifying and fixing bugs, as well as optimizing system performance; Actively participate in code reviews and pair programming, and contribute best development practices; Design and implement automated testing strategies that ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance. ✅ **Essential Requirements:** Practical experience with Java (Java 17\+), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security); Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis); Experience with RESTful APIs and integration patterns; Practical knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and microservices architecture; Experience with Git and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban); Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar; Experience with automated testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests; Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Gatling, JMeter, or similar. * **Nice-to-have:** Experience in banking-sector projects; Experience with observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry); Knowledge of event-driven architecture; Experience with load testing and performance engineering in distributed environments. **Benefits:** Remote work allowance Flash card Access to South Academy courses and certifications Financial education program **About South:** You will join a collaborative team with autonomy and a focus on continuous improvement, working on projects with real business impact, where turning ideas into deliverables is part of everyday life.
